Daniel & Lakia Thompson, LCSWC
Founders
Daniel and Lakia Thompson, founders of Created For Greater, have spent two decades together, raising five children and dedicating their lives to mental health advocacy. With 18 years of combined professional experience, Daniel, with his expertise in crisis intervention and case management, and Lakia, a Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma, depression, and anxiety, co-founded Created For Greater in 2017 to address unmet community needs. Their mission is to empower individuals to recognize their inherent greatness and achieve well-being. Beyond therapy, they lead workshops, supervise future clinicians, and advocate for systemic change, inspiring others to be greater.
Oluwakemi Oyesile, MS
Lead Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor
My name is Oluwakemi Oyesile. I hold a Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from Fordham University in New York (2012) and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona Global Campus. I have strong communication skills and a solid background in counseling, with a passion for supporting individuals through personal and behavioral challenges.
Namika Mahmoodi, LCPC
Rehabilitation Specialist for Minors and Psychotherapist
Hello Everyone! My name is Namika Zaman Mahmoodi and I have my Masters and Post Masters in Clinical Psychology at Johns Hopkins University, with my License as a Clinical Counseling Professional (LCPC). I also completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park.
I have worked as a licensed therapist in two clinical organizations both in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, where I provide individual and group therapy to adults and minors for clients facing addiction, mental health illness, and anxiety struggles only to name a few. I also worked for over four years for the Baltimore Alliance for Careers in Healthcare, where I provide career readiness skills and help immigrants and city residents obtain apprenticeship training and employment in healthcare. In the past, I have interned at both a Baltimore County Middle and High School.
Currently, I am working as a community therapist here at Created for Greater for the past two years. I work with both adults and minors for individual and group therapy. I specialize in addictions and utilize an Adlerian or Person-Centered theoretical approach with my clients putting empathy and positive regard at the forefront with my clients.
Esther Adeolu Ojo, CRNP, PMH
Medical Director and Psychotherapist
I am a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support patients effectively. I have 14years of Nursing experience including 7yrs in mental health, working with patients of all ages. I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment while working collaboratively with patients to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and more. I emphasize evidence-based treatments, including medication management and therapeutic interventions, while prioritizing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. My mission is to empower patients to take an active role in their mental health journey and provide the tools and support necessary to achieve emotional well-being. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature or spending time with family. I look forward to partnering with you to improve your mental health and overall quality of life.
Abdun Matin, LGPC
Rehabilitation Specialist and Psychotherapist
I have a Masters in Industrial organizations psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and Post Masters Certificate in Mental Health counseling from University of Baltimore. He has experience of working with the youth population from the University of Maryland Psychiatric department as a trainee counselor. Prior to that he served as Area Director for ICNA Relief (National Relief Organization) for 5 years and prior to that served at HHRD as Area Manager (International Relief Organizations)for 5 years as well.
Randi Hamilton, LCPC
Substance Abuse Director and Psychotherapist
I am a licensed therapist with experience in substance use counseling as well as many other diagnoses. I knew I wanted to go into the helping profession ever since 9th grade. I've been working as a therapist since 2021, although I've been in the field of mental health in some capacity since 2011. I graduated with a Masters degree in 2016 from University of Baltimore. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, usually enjoying Disney movies/books, or walking outside.
Brittney Goins
Lead Program Administrator and Human Resources Director
With a strong foundation in behavioral health and a proven record of progressive leadership, I bring over six years of experience in managing and supporting mental health and rehabilitation programs. I currently serve as a Program Administrator for an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, and Level 3.1 Substance Use Outpatient Program. In this multifaceted role, I oversee client intake and authorization processes, manage referral pipelines, support staff onboarding, and lead outreach and client re-engagement initiatives to enhance service access. Previously, I served as Program Director at Sheppard Pratt, where I led clinical operations, ensured regulatory compliance, and supervised multidisciplinary teams. My earlier roles in case management and direct care have equipped me with deep clinical insight, administrative expertise, and a strong commitment to improving client outcomes through coordinated, person-centered care. I am passionate about advancing service delivery and promoting wellness in underserved communities.
Justin Goins
Director of Transportation
I currently serves as the Lead Transportation Coordinator, where he is responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations and ensuring the timely and safe travel of clients. He plays a vital role in training new team members and implementing safety protocols in alignment with local and federal regulations. Justin brings a strong commitment to service and a deep understanding of the unique challenges involved in coordinating transportation for vulnerable and high-need populations. His leadership contributes to the consistent and reliable access to essential appointments and services.
